Local Safety Standards & Regulations

Products sold by Gemplers are designed to meet stated U.S. safety standards and regulations. Because local safety standards and regulations vary significantly, Gemplers cannot guarantee that our products meet all applicable requirements in each locality. The purchaser assumes all responsibility for compliance with safety standards and regulations in those localities in which the products will be shipped, sold and used.


Claims

We take great care in filling, checking and packing your order. On rare occasions, a package may be damaged or lost in transit. If a truck shipment is damaged, please note the damage on the delivery receipt. Then call us at 1-800-382-8473.


Shipping Hazardous Products

Products requiring special handling per D.O.T. regulations will require additional shipping charges. For specific details call 1-800-382-8473.

Limited Warranty

Except as described in our guarantee, there are no express warranties or implied warranties including, but not limited to, merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Gemplers shall not be subject to and disclaims: (1) any other obligations or liabilities arising out of breach of contract or of warranty, (2) any obligations whatsoever arising from tort claims (including negligence and strict liability) or arising under other theories of law with respect to products sold or services rendered by Gemplers or any undertakings, acts or omissions relating thereto, and (3) all consequential, incidental and contingent damages whatsoever.


Gemplers' Tools Lifetime Limited Warranty

We made the best tools we could, and we will stand behind them. Are there exclusions? You betcha, as we say in the Midwest. If you abuse the spirit of the warranty by, let’s say driving over it with a Bobcat, then we aren’t going to warranty it. Our lawyers said we should list the fine print, but we aren’t going to do that! You be fair, and we will be fair.

Instructions:

  1. Send us a picture and tell us what’s going on at customerservice@gemplers.com.
  2. Once we process the claim, we will either send you a replacement tool, or we will send you a Gemplers gift card.

Check or Money Order

Payment may be made with check or money order when ordering by mail. Payment must be made in U.S. dollars. Please do not send cash through the mail.

Open Account

Open account is only offered to businesses. Credit review is required. To request open account, please contact accounting@gemplers.com.

Sales Tax & Tax Exempt

Tax Exempt

If you are tax exempt and your account doesn't reflect your tax exempt status, please email your tax exempt certificate to accounting@gemplers.com. We will get you set up on the website.

All prices published on our website are in U.S. dollars and must be paid in U.S. dollars.

NOTE: In the event of a pricing error, Gemplers reserves the right to charge the correct price. We also reserve the right to change prices without notice should market commodity conditions unforeseeably change.

Outfit crews of all sizes. Spend $50 or more on an order of clothing and/or footwear, and we'll send it to you for FREE!

Order must consist entirely of clothing and/or footwear to be eligible. Offer applies to anywhere we ship. Does not apply to safety apparel (e.g. Tyvek coveralls, disposable gloves, etc).

Standard Ground Shipping

Our fair shipping rates and estimated delivery times vary by total order weight and geographic location (see map).

 

We ship Monday-Friday. Orders placed over the weekend or a holiday will be processed the next business day.

Transit times on items shipping directly from the manufacturer will vary. For exact delivery dates, contact Customer Service at 1-800-382-8473 or customerservice@gemplers.com.

You may also choose to send your order with Next Day or Second Day delivery. Charges are calculated at checkout.

Items too large or heavy for small parcel shipping (e.g. UPS, USPS, Fed Ex) may be shipped via truck. Shipping charges will be quoted when you place your order or shortly thereafter via phone or email.

Hazardous and oversized items will incur additional shipping charges.

Orders are shipped FOB Janesville, WI, or factory, at our discretion unless otherwise agreed to by Gemplers. We prepay and add shipping charges.

When can I return a product purchased from Gempler's?

You may return products within 30 days of receiving your order. We ask that the product is in new condition and in its original packaging.

NOTE: For your convenience during holiday gift giving, purchases made in November and December may be returned through January 31st of the following year.

A credit for the item(s) will be applied to the original payment method.

Are there any exceptions to the return policy?

Yes, there are certain instances when a product is non-returnable:

  • Special-ordered products
  • Customized products (i.e. personalized with embroidery, heat press or laser etching)
  • Closeout items
  • Hazardous products or products once used with hazardous materials (i.e. a used gas can).
  • Disposable items like nitrile/latex gloves, paper respirators, protective coveralls unless packaging is still sealed.
  • Partly-used consumables like lubricants, cleaning products, rust converters/removers, paints, fertilizers, etc.

For quality issues with any of these products, please contact customer service.

How do I return a product?

Any product you return must be in new condition and in its original packaging within 30 days of receipt. All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA). Please give us a call at 800-382-8473 to get your return started today!

Send the product(s) via the carrier of your choice. Once we receive the item(s) back and they are inspected, a credit will be issued to you.

How to Return Clothing and Footwear Items

All clothing and footwear orders will include a free return label. You may return products within 30 days of receiving your order. The item(s) must be in new and unused condition and in its original packaging. The item(s) must be free of wear debris, and odor to be eligible for refund. Items that are customized or closeout cannot be returned. Accepted returns are refunded to the original form of payment.

 

FAQs

Q: Do PPE and safety apparel qualify for free returns?

A: Due to health and safety concerns, we are unable to accept returns for disposable safety items like coveralls (e.g. Tyvek), gloves, respirators, or facemasks.

Q: Can I return customized items?

A: We are unable to accept returns on any customized items.

Q: Are hats and socks considered Clothing and Footwear?

A: Yes. We consider hats and socks Clothing and Footwear and may be returned.
