How do I apply for Open Account?

  • For new customers, place a minimum $100 order and complete/return the GEMPLER'S Credit Application.

How do I know if I was approved for Open Account?

  • If approved, you will receive an email from the credit department outlining your credit limit, payment terms and account number. If you are not approved or we need more information, we will contact you via email.

Are international businesses eligible for Open Account?

  • Unfortunately, Open Account is only available for U.S. businesses at this time.

Are consumers eligible for Open Account?

  • Unfortunately, Open Account is only available for businesses at this time.

How do I find out what my credit limit is?

  • The approval email from the credit department will provide your credit limit.

Is a credit application required?

How long does it take to review a credit application?

  • Please allow 24–48 hours for a credit review. We will contact you if your review will take more than 48 hours.

How do I request a credit limit increase?

  • Contact our credit department for a credit application, or to request a review of your account for an increase.

Which credit agencies do you report to?

  • We report to Dun & Bradstreet and Cortera on a monthly basis.

When should I pay my invoice if I want my payment history reported to the credit agencies?

  • For reporting purposes, do not pay your invoice in the same calendar month in which you received the order. For example, if you received your order in March, please wait until April to pay your invoice. This will ensure that your payment gets reported to the credit bureau agencies.
