Step 6: Use a metal bristle brush to remove any buffing dust.

Step 7: Apply a thin coat of Rema cold vulcanizing fluid to the entire buffed area. Do not over-apply. Allow to dry thoroughly. Test with back of your finger, outside of the repair area. When cement is tacky, but does not stick to your finger, the cement is ready.

Step 8: Peel foil backing from the patch. Center the patch over the injury. Press the patch down on the tube, using pressure at the center and working out to the edge.
