Easy-to-follow, Step-by-step Tube Repair

Step 3: Clean tube surface by spraying a coat of pre-buff cleaner over the injured area. Allow it to set for approximately 10 to 15 seconds. Drag the scraper over the entire sprayed surface to remove contaminants. Repeat if necessary.

Step 5: Buff the area slightly larger than patch size, to a smooth velvety surface. Do not use a buffer that exceeds 5,000 RPM. A high-speed buffer scorches the rubber prohibiting an optimum bond.
