I have three cairn terriers who LOVE root vegetables and brassicas. Over the winter, they learned to jump into the 24" high, barrier-supported, raised beds to help themselves to the fall leftovers that were supposed to grow early flowers to attract beneficials. So I did a trial of various means to fence them out without making it hard for me to reach into the beds for weeding and picking. These hoops were the clear winners. Very attractive. Smooth, rounded tops pose no danger to eyes or arms. Very visible to dogs, who figured out they couldn't be jumped. Easily installed, though I have to overlap them to keep the terriers from jumping in through their interior space. So I am ordering 600 more. Hope they will last in the ground, as pulling them and storing them over the winter will be difficult.
