Information

GEMPLER'S ® 4-mil Nitrile Gloves

  • Textured fingertips for added dexterity and grip
  • Blue nitrile gloves comfortably conform to your hand without being too tight
  • Tears when punctured so you know the glove has been violated
  • Rolled cuffs and light powder inside for easy on/off
  • Made of latex-free materials
  • 9-1/2" length

These new and improved nitrile gloves are made with "next generation" nitrile for improved softness, comfort, elasticity and reduced hand fatigue. As strong and as durable as ever, these comfortable, disposable gloves are ideal for jobs like milking, mechanic work, soil and animal handling, chemical splash protection and handling treated seed. Our 4-mil, 9-1/2" length nitrile gloves are the perfect fit for jobs that require finger sensitivity and dexterity. Nitrile tears when punctured so you know if the glove integrity has been compromised. Textured surface enhances your grip on small or slippery items. Ambidextrous. Rolled cuff makes them easy to put on and take off. Available in powdered and powder-free. Imported. Specify size: S (8), M (9), L (10), XL (11) or 2XL (12); Style: powdered or powder-free; and quanity from the drop down boxes above.

NOTE: Our new gloves run more true to size. Please measure hand and order size accordingly. To obtain your glove size, use a tape measure to find the circumference of the knuckle area of your hand. This measurement, in inches, is your glove size. If the measurement is 10", specify 10 or L (Large). See Glove Sizing Chart for additional explanation.

NOTE: Please note that the nature of this new formulation will make the gloves feel softer and more elastic; they have been thoroughly field-tested and are not thinner or less durable than the old formulation.

Gempler's nitrile gloves are the only ones for best value under heavy use. They are tough and stand up to significant abuse before tearing or leaking (the 8-mil gloves solve that problem nicely, and I have those, too). Dexterity is excellent, I can pick up a dime with them. I use them under my automotive gloves for messy lube and brake work, to protect from chemicals or mud and dirt when spraying, painting, planting or cleaning. The 4-mil are my first choice for most jobs (8-mil my second choice) to protect my hands. Powdered gloves resist tearing and go on easily, even under hot, sweaty conditions. You won't regret having a supply for continual use.

These (or any) 4mil. gloves are OK for light use such as staining wood or just when you want to keep dirt off your hands, but there are much better (heavier) gloves out there. These also have a tendency to "melt" when used with certain chemicals or solvents. I've switched to a 9mil. glove that I use for greasy jobs heavier jobs and they are much longer lasting. Just use common sense as to when you use them.

Comments about GEMPLER'S 4-mil Nitrile Gloves:

These new gloves are soooo tight. I always bought a large. These were a large. Fingers are plenty long enough (in fact loose) and plenty ample enough (again, loose). Length is good. Fit around the wrist (could actually be a little tighter). But over the knuckles, these gloves feel like a medium, at best. Who, I would ask, developed the sizing for these new gloves?

Comments about GEMPLERS GEMPLER'S 4-mil Nitrile Gloves:

I've been getting nitrile gloves locally but the fingers were always long and I had to use baby powder as they only sell non powdered. These fit perfectly and are very easy to get on thanks to the light powder. I use these gloves to transplant and plant my seedlings. They are much better than heavy gloves because the seedlings are very small and need a delicate touch. I am older and no longer want to get my hands all dirty and I believe these help prevent bug bites too.
