By using post-consumer, recycled materials to produce these mats, landfill waste is reduced by over 400 tons annually. It also conserves the natural resources and energy that would normally be required for production. Every square foot of a Waterhog™ eco product prevents four half-liter drink bottles from ended up in a landfill. So when a 3'x5' mat is used, approximately 60 bottles are recycled.
