Have used these on about 70 trees over 6 years now. They are a little difficult to install because the tabs fit tightly into the slots, but a warm day and a little practice makes it easier. If installed properly, they stay put for years. You will need to put two together for faster growing/larger trees. I wish they were a little taller, but they hold up to abuse and weed wackers very well.

I found construction rather light and difficult to install with the tabs. I used to have heavier quality ones which were much better. But these I'd buy again because I don't see a better version of this type on the market.

Bought a case lot and found them to be difficult to install and extremely difficult to keep installed.
I bought them to protect my 50 pear trees from my weed whacker and the simply do not do a descent job. They fly off the minute the string fr om the weed whacker hit them and do not work as I had hoped. NO I WOULD NOT BUY THEM AGAIN!

Our desired result from the wraps is to protect our trees from weed whackers and dogs. We have just installed the wraps and require at least a year to see if the tree wraps produce the protection which initiated the purchase. The difficulty in the handling of this product and the amount of wraps it takes to go around a tree to keep the wraps from touching the tree makes me regret purchasing the items. The tabs are so big that they do not want to slide through the slots. (Both my husband and myself have challenges with our hands.) I believe they will protect from the weed whackers, with all the holes however, I'm not so sure about the dogs.
