I'm an avid gardener and my husband an avid landscaper. We both wear work boots that are tough to put on and take off. For years, to avoid tracking mud, water, whatever into the house, we've tied plastic bags to our feet when entering temporarily. The bags ultimately fell off as we shuffled our way to the bathroom or kitchen and our floors got dirty despite our best efforts. Then one winter day a cable repairman came to our house and slipped plastic booties over his workboots before entering. Eureka - they were exactly what I had been trying to create with plastic bags. I searched high and low for them and finally was able to locate a very similar product in Gemplers. I keep a box of them in our entryway now. I use them, my husband uses them - even visitors will slip them on if their shoes or boots are dirty. The booties are very well made and durable so they can be used multiple times before discarding. A box of them will last a very long time. THANK YOU Gemplers - ya did it again.

The whole concept of the shoe covers are great, the only thing is that I should have ordered a larger size than the actual shoe size. I bought these for my husband to cover his work boots when he has to come in the house. I ordered large, he wears a size 11 shoe, the shoe covers rip every time he puts a pair on. Next time I'll order the X-large
