Comments about ARS Aluminum Telescoping Pruning Shears-- Cut-and-hold:

I have pruned 14 foot high hedges all day long and this is only possible because of the light weight and ease in handling. I use them about 8 months a year and buy 2 every other year as I evenually wear them out. It is usually the internal extention lock that wears out and as yet, I have not been able to fix the problem. But again, the average user should get many years of use from this pruner. I am buying two more today. Hope this helps.

Comments about ARS Aluminum Telescoping Pruning Shears-- Cut-and-hold:

Much easier to use than telescoping pruners with cords that are pulled in order to cut. Lighter and easier to use; can get so much more pruning done in a single session.

Comments about ARS Aluminum Telescoping Pruning Shears-- Cut-and-hold:

I bought my ARS telescoping pruner over 5 years ago and it is still working like new. Being light weight it is very manuverable even fully extended. I am only 5' tall so this eliminates the need of a ladder or climbing down into ditches.

Comments about ARS Aluminum Telescoping Pruning Shears-- Cut-and-hold:

Product could use some instructions. Cutter operates only when extension pole clicks in. Cut-and-hold feature does not hold very well. Hook on back of cutter is useful for dragging in cuttings. A great device for clearing blackberry bushes, especially on hard to reach hillsides.
