Nice and sharp, I trim all my blueberry bushes with no problems. I wish the latch would stay in the closed position better. They open up in my pocket.

Pros

  • Sharp Blade

Cons

    Best Uses

    • Trimming Bushes

Comments about ARS V-series Heavy-duty Bypass Pruners:

This heavy duty hand pruner is great for cutting large soft branches such as oleander and citrus. It takes two hands to cut hard mesquite branches over 1/2 inch in diameter...but it cuts them. The blades are very sharp. Time will tell how long they remain sharp. The only negative thing about this pruner is it has no hole in the grip to hang it from my pegboard wall where I have all my other tools hanging.
