Sharpened cutting edge of the King of Spades nursery spade penetrates through hard, compacted soil and is self-sharpening during use. Aircraft-quality steel D-handle won't break. Durable alloy steel blade is heat-treated and tempered to protect against rust and dents from hard digging conditions. Large rubber footpad can be bolted to either side of the blade step for digging comfort. Replacement footpads (Item No. W418) sold separately. Overall length 41". Weighs 6.2 lbs. USA made.
