A group of local citizens in our community do a lot of community service work reworking properties in our town. This involves trimming trees and hedges, removing vines, cleaning out flower beds and frequently being exposed to poison ivy. Since using Tecnu, I haven't had any problems with poison ivy rash. I keep Tecnu in my truck and in my medicine cabinet. I simply rub it on all exposed skin areas after completing work, rinse and dry with a clean wash cloth then repeat. It has no odor and leaves no visible residue. Best of all..no poison ivy!

Being a E.R. on site at camping events, TECNU has come to the rescue of many wayward campers. I highly recommend this product & always keep it in my First Aid kit. :-)

Why are doctors not telling their patients about this product? Tecnu WORKS! Wash within the recommended time (and all you need is Tecnu and a dry washcloth to pour it on) and you NEVER need to SUFFER from this fierce rash AGAIN! I have an extreme reaction to poison ivy oils so I carry Tecnu with me whenever I'm doing outdoor activities away from home (I live in 10 1/2 acres of woods). Being an avid morel (mushroom) hunter and intrepid explorer of all things outdoors, I used to stop my activities when the poison ivy emerged, but with Tecnu on hand, I now wade through thigh high plants without care! I even use it on my dog's fur when they come in from a run in the woods to avoid transferring the oil from them to me when we snuggle and I haven't had the rash in years! Tecnu is the best, and Gempler's has the best price I've found! I would buy it by the gallon if I could.

This product is a must have if one has to perfrom any kind of work in or around any areas that may contain poison ivy. This can even be added to laundry detergent to really help cleanse clothes of the urushiol oil.
