This is the perfect tool for removing a split-rim. It is shaped perfectly to pry under the notch in the safety ring, and also for prying the ring open. You can snap a split-rim apart in a few seconds without chewing up the rim and your other tools that weren't designed for the job.I am using this on Unimog split rims type 10.00V20 made by Lemmerz. Fits perfectly.
