Product
Information

Save time by only watering once a week
Supply an even, steady supply of water.

"Plant" the Water Ring along with young trees, shrubs and rose bushes. Slowly releases water over a two- to four-hour period to reduce runoff and evaporation. Remove after your plant is established or leave in place until the plant outgrows it. To use, dig a trench around the base of the plant and line with a 1" layer of mulch. Place Water Ring on top of the mulch and cover with more mulch leaving the fill-spout exposed. Fill with water weekly. Use on plants with trunks up to 4" diameter. Outside diameter 24", weighs 2.25 lbs. when empty, holds 4.5 gals. USA made of UV-resistant plastic.

Pros

    Cons

    • Water Goes Everywhere

    Best Uses

    • Outdoor Garden

    Comments about Tree Watering Ring:

Holes are too big. Had to close up all the holes and install one emitter and it worked fine after that. Would not recommend this item if you can not handle closeing up the holes and changing the amount of water leaving the ring. It's a good idea but it has to be modified too work properly.

    Comments about Tree Watering Ring:

Good idea for newly planted shrubs etc. Problem with excessive flow rate - needed to close up some of the holes. Oh - don't let the stopper get pushed in to the unit - takes some time and patience to retrieve "it" - Would still recommend purchase.
