This is the best and easiest trap I have ever used and I've tryed them all. No bait is necessary, just put against a wall (mice always run along a wall) First night I set out three traps and I was getting up constantly. Caught about 18 mice that night. And they keep comming back to the same area and getting caught. GREAT TRAP!

The wire loop either when set or sprung allows one to place or retrieve the trap from hard to access areas - a big plus. The minus is that the trip mechanism is far from fool proof. Sometimes it's tricky to set. Sometimes it doesn't release. Another plus is that one can release a dead mouse without touching it or soiled portions of the trap and then reset the trap - again without having to touch soiled parts.
