MiraCool® products contain highly absorbent crystals that absorb 1,000 times their weight in cool, refreshing water. Once soaked or saturated, they use the power of evaporation to provide extended cooling. Designed to be worn against the head, neck or body for maximum effectiveness; reusable and hand washable. Crystals are encased in cotton for all-day comfort. Cotton ranger-style hat has gel crystals in the crown to absorb and hold cool water. Simply soak it for 10 minutes before wearing. Hat Grommets in the hat allow for better ventilation, increasing the evaporation rate, which provides better cooling. When worn dry, the soft terry cloth lining soaks up perspiration while you work.
