I trapped 23 last year and already on number 4 this year.
Tip for success: Remove your scent from the trap by pushing the metal tines or Forks of the trap into the ground 3 or 4 times (Not into the mole tunnel). Then locate the longest run, lightly press down on the tunnel with your foot, stick the trap in the ground, step down and make sure the plunger is pointing strait down (The trap is set in less than 10 seconds). If you don't "Catch" one by the next day, lift up on the quick release and move it.
I have thrown away all of my loop and spike type traps. Currently using this trap on our soccer fields and at my home.
Great product, spend the extra money on a trap that will last a lifetime.

        Comments about Mole Eliminator Trap:

Tried for a couple of years to get a handle on those litter buggers with no avail. A client turned me onto this trap telling me "its the only way". He was right, great trap, very easy to use, VERY minimal mis-trips. Immediately started to catch moles. GREAT PRODUCT!

            Comments about Mole Eliminator Trap:

I have tried multiple mole traps and this trap is by far the best. It is well engineered and since the trap functions below the soil surface, it is safer. It is important to monitor the mole runs and place the trap in active runs. If you don't trap the mole in 2-3 days, move the trap. The only downside is removing the mole from the pincers. It would be nice if there were an advanced design feature that allow you to open the pincers independent of the spring mechanism.

Set the trap the day it arrived in the main tunnel. When I arrived home from work the next day the deed was done. Best trap I have used on Moles.
