We use this tool to conduct soil sampling on our farm quarterly. It's a fast and economical tool that gets the job done. Foot step is a must have to penetrate soil to 12". Get this if you wont need to change tips for different soil types.

We are a soil consulting business, and we sample hundreds of fields by hand. These are definitely the favorite probe of all the ones we've tried. they clean out very easily and are extremely durable. Best quality and a great price.
