I purchased the holographic flash tape to keep the birds from making a mess on our deck railing. We tied them to tree branches nearby and haven't had any problems with the birds using the deck railing for their perch. It's a lot easier than having to wash off the deck and table before we sit outside. Thanks for the quick fix!

This worked great for my bird and woodpecker problems. I had concerns on the tape tearing, so I folded over the top (doubling the thickness) before installing a grommet and "S" hook. Within 2 days the woodpeckers stopped coming back. I hung the tape under the soffit on each corner and in the centers on long spans (approx every 12-15').
