Comments about TANGLETRAP Insect Trap Coating -- 1 Gallon Brush-On Formula:

We use this to catch biting stable flies around our horses. Biting flies seem to be attracted by white. We brush this on empty gallon milk jugs and put the jugs upside down on some sort of rod stuck in the ground that places them about twelve inches off the ground. This height seems to work the best on stable flies as they mostly bite the horses on the bottom half of their legs. Catches flies like crazy!

Comments about TANGLETRAP Insect Trap Coating -- 1 Gallon Brush-On Formula:

I used this product on one gallon jugs that I painted blue which is the color that attracts them. I hung them at head level around the yard where I was having the worst trouble with deerflies and it worked great. Once they land they can't get free. It lasts the entire summer with one coat. The only time I had to mess with them was when the trap was coated with insects & there wasn't anymore room for more to land.

Comments about TANGLETRAP Insect Trap Coating -- 1 Gallon Brush-On Formula:

The biting flies in our area (Chesapeake, VA) land and attempt to bite any dark moving object. We paint several beach balls dark blue or black and hang them from branches right at the edge of the shade, then coat each with the brush on Tangletrap. Every year we put out ten to fifteen balls like this and each quickly get completely covered with the rotten little flies. Any fly on the ball is one less that will bite me.

Comments about TANGLETRAP Insect Trap Coating -- 1 Gallon Brush-On Formula:

not long ago i had whitefly and fungus gnat problems. first pesticide use nearly worked,(for a while), so i spent a ton of cash on a half dozen types of beneficial predator bugs, each type of pest would appear to be gone only to re-infest so i got big yellow plastic real-estate signs bought spray-on tangle-trap, a pail of the paste tangle-trap, and some cans of the gel tangle-trap. Hands down my favorite was the brush on gel. it goes on easier, spreads way thinner than the gel yet way thicker than the spray, but best of all is for a longer period of time the little gnats and whiteflies get stuck. If say ten, or a hundred whiteflies survived the bio or pesticide war i wage on them, four or five giant(2 or 3 foot) squares of tangletrap gel on yellow signs,(i also use yellow contact paper on cardboard), seem to be what ended some rough bug issues for me and when checking these traps for early bug detection i can order my beneficial bugs early enough(takes a week to get predators shipped) to work good enough to get knockdown.
