Comments about Rugg 28'' Wood Hay Rake:

Spread loam for new grass planting--
    Handy and helpful--
If tines were closer together, more loam could have been spread in one or two passes rather than four or five.

Comments about Rugg 28'' Wood Hay Rake:

I have an acre of hay below my garden. I scythe it by hand (no gas or noise from power equipment) and then rake it. I avoid the cost of hiring a brush hog, get some exercise, keep the weeds and saplings out of the field, and have mulch hay for the garden. The Rugg rake is as good as the one I used as a boy fifty years ago. That says a lot in a time when so many tools are made with lower standards of workmanship.
