Heavy-duty hardened steel alloy construction of this nursery spade outlasts wood and fiberglass. 11-gauge steel blade has closed back for extra reinforcement and to eliminate buildup. Mill-sharpened blade easily cuts through soil and has a cushion footpad that can be moved from one side to the other for better digging leverage. Straight handle is 50" and welded to the 15"L blade, which tapers from 7-1/4" at the top to 6-1/4" at the bottom. Overall length 65". USA made.
