solo® sprayers are designed so only chemical-resistant parts come in contact with the formula being sprayed. As a result, you'll have years of trouble-free spraying . . . no corrosion, swelling, shrinking or dissolving of valve or pump components when used with ag chemicals dissolved in water or oil. Piston Pump sprayers allow a wider range of applications than diaphragm pump models. Not recommended for use with abrasive sprays or wettable powders because these substances can score the piston and cylinder of the pump, causing leaks and lowering the life span of the sprayer. Standard pressure of 60 p.s.i. can be raised to a maximum 90 p.s.i. by replacing the pressure control valve with an optional plug (Item No. 4200215). Tanks are made of high-density, UV-stabilized polyethylene with high-impact strength and excellent resistance to chemicals and stress. Nylon web straps are padded at the shoulders. Pump handle is adjustable for left- or right-hand operation. Supplied with two spray nozzles which provide three different spray patterns. Flat spray nozzle is recommended for general area spraying. For spot spraying, the conical nozzle provides a cone-shaped spray when used with the swirl plate and a pin-stream spray without the swirl plate. Large 4" opening with strainer allows fast and safe fillings. Features a handy interlock device for continuous spraying. 5-gallon sprayer. Weighs 11 lbs. empty. Made in Germany.
