This professional cotton sampling knife has been manufactured for over 100 years in upstate New York. Made with high-quality materials for years of service. High-carbon steel blades are heat-treated and tempered for extra strength and have a sharp honed cutting edge which is easily re-sharpened when needed. Full tang construction means that the blade goes all the way to the end of the handle for a super-strong handle. Durable hardwood handles are secured to the blades with brass compression rivets, so the blades won't loosen with hard use. Used for cutting into bales of cotton.
