Your imagination is the only limit to this Tool! The only downside is that you need to have decent side-cuts (needle nose cuttters not so good).
The .031 wire supplied is an excellent all-purpose clamp wire.

Simply put it works as it should, have used to repair an air line used for air tools and has put life back into an old pitch fork for around the yard.

This tool makes the best and neatest little wire clamps I've ever seen. I work for Oregon State Parks and have fixed many hoses in our parks using 304 stainless .032 wire. I use the double wrap clamp. These clamps are far superior to the screw style hose clamp because there are no clumsy screw bolts and excess clamp material in the way when clamped with a clamptite tool. The clamptite makes a more tight and secure clamp as well.

These homemade clamps will give you a sense of pride and craftsmanship. you will also receive many compliments on their neatness and durability.

It will take a little practice to get familiar with the tool and the clamps aren't as quick and easy too install as a screw type hose clamp but the extra couple of minutes that it takes is well worth the effort.

If I ever lost this tool, I'd have to get another one.
