I wear these Baffin boots in snow & icy conditions in winter, and in wet conditions during the spring, summer, and fall.

They are relatively inexpensive, practical, waterproof, and pretty durable. I wore one pair daily during three winters. The tread finally began to wear down after 3 years. So I bought a new pair. As long as there is tread left these boots have pretty good traction on ice and slippery snow.

The lining is warm enough for most of the winter conditions we have here in Indiana. I buy extra liners. Changing back and forth between two sets of liners saves wear & tear and airs out the liners.

I bought a third pair of boots to keep in the car so that I can always have a pair of boots available for emergencies.

I wear a 7 shoe. I wear a size 8 in these boots. The fit is just slightly loose with medium weight socks. With heavier socks the fit is more snug.

If you want style and "cute", buy fashion boots. If you want boots that are practical and waterproof buy these Baffins.

Use them for work around horse stable. I have very wide feet so it is difficult to find boots that are comfortable. These fit well and love the drawstring to keep out all the barn dirt. HOWEVER, right at the crease of where my ankle meets my foot the boot wore through in less than 6 months. It is cracked and makes them unuseable for barn work. Wish the rubber was a better quality and more flexible.

I have to hold the liner while putting on boot so that it doesn't bunch down around my ankle. Otherwise, very warm, waterproof, lightweight.

I live in the Adirondacks of New York and our weather goes from below O in the winter to the 70s in the summer. These boots are perfect all year with or without socks. My feet are narrow and these fit perfectly. I have owned several pairs in the 15 years I have been here. Since I walk the dogs every day, they get heavy wear. I would recommend them to anyone.
