The Moldex® 8000 half mask is 30% lighter than conventional dual-cartridge respirators and features a soft, flexible facepiece material which is designed for a comfortable fit and excellent field of vision (even when wearing glasses!). This complete, ready-to-use assembly includes: one facepiece, one set of multi-gas/vapor with SMART® cartridges, an instruction booklet and reusable storage bag. Replacement cartridges and filters (sold separately) are supplied with new inhalation valves so maintenance costs are reduced. NIOSH approved; TC-23C-1809. USA made. NOTE: One SMART® cartridge replaces multiple chemical cartridges and protects against: organic vapors (paint/pesticide); ammonia (anhydrous or from livestock confinement) and methylamine; acid gases (disinfecting livestock, chlorine, sulphur dioxide and hydrogen chloride). SMART® cartridges have a shorter capacity when protecting against a single hazard and are best used when protection is needed against multiple hazards.
