I was a skeptic but we have had good results. I gave it 4 stars because 5 is "it doesn't get any better" which is standard beyond my experience. I just ordered two more which is probably the best indication of my satisfaction. I am surprised at the number of low reviews. The soil in our area is heavy, which is the type of soil in which this product is most effective. I wonder if the lack of success for others is due to use in soils that are too sandy. It is interesting that the lower powered model offered by the same company has very good reviews.

We used to have major problems with gophers throughout our little fruit tree orchard. After several weeks with this product (only one in the middle), the gophers just seemed to disappear. I have to admit I was very skeptical that this would actually work, but I didn't do anything else to get the gophers to go away.

Unfortunately, the jack rabbits aren't bothered by the product, but it never claimed to work on them.

Just in case you are wondering, the diameter of a 13,500 square foot circle is about 131 ft.

Had the orginial 15 years ago. Worked great until the battery leaked, updated to the new model and the moles love it! The 1/3 area now houses moles from everywhere! Our yard is now a moles haven! Not at all what was advertised!!!! Bought three to replace the one old one and NOTHING!!!!! My little dachshund loves the lawn now, but with him playing with them and digging for them my new lawn now looks like a battle field! Save your money!
