Oakfield chrome-plated steel soil sampling auger is ideal for multiple layer sampling. Use the auger to clear out upper layers for deeper sampling. Kit includes one 12" handle, two 12" extension rods, one 12" auger, one 12" tube with replaceable screw-on tip and heavy fiber board case. 1-1/4" auger diameter. Core is 3/4" x 10". Weighs 4 lbs.
