Washable nylon-coated steel tape won't rust and stays accurate over its entire length. Well worth the investment for a lifetime of high-accuracy work outdoors. Constructed to be highly break and damage resistant under the toughest field conditions. The heavy weight means less wind drift and the nylon coating gives improved flexibility. Stays accurate even under extreme temperature. Plastic open reel allows dirt and debris to fall from tape without clogging the mechanism. Tape is 3/8" wide. 3:1 zip line gear ratio for faster rewind.
