This splice crimper and wire cutter will quickly mend old rusty wire or new wire. Made of alloy steel with a hardened-steel cutting edge for a lifetime of use. Sure-grip, molded plastic handles provide comfort, control and safety. It cuts and splices barbed wire, woven wire, welded wire, electrical wire and horse fence. Tool is 22" long; weighs 5.5 lbs. To quickly mend old rusty wire or new wire, attach this wire stretcher and remove slack or bring broken ends together. Cut out slack or add new wire to provide an overlap. Install splice (sold separately, see similar items) and crimp three or four times with crimping tool. Remove wire stretcher and you have a permanent fence repair.
