It's also regularly used to ensure worker safety and crowd control at construction sites, parks, special events and ski areas. Utility/snow fence is made of polyethylene with UV inhibitors for long outdoor life. Elliptical pattern has an aperture of approximately 1"Lx4"W. 270-lb. tensile strength. USA made. NOTE: For effective snow control, snow fence should be placed a minimum of 135 feet upwind of the area to be protected. A 4" to 6" gap between the fence and ground should be maintained for maximum efficiency.
