Used netting to keep the deer herds from eating the flower garden surrounding our home. Deer, when hungary, eat everything green.
Also use to surround Nellie Stevens Holly trees which the deer regard
as a winter delicacy.
We intend on using the same netting next year as well. We attach it
to stakes using spring-loaded clothes pins.

This works perfectly - and I've tried everything else. Just wrap up plants that you don't want eaten by deer and armadillos. I have three Japanese maples that were in danger of being eaten to the ground by deer and this netting stopped it immediately.

We draped the netting over shrubs that the deer seemed to like in past years. None were touched. When spring arrived, we removed the netting and stored for further use. It appears to be very durable and is invisible when draped over the shrubs.

I was looking for something that would protect the bottom of my plants because the rabbits were chewing them. I also had problems with turkeys taking the mulch at bottom of plants and pushing away from the plant with their feet. Both problems were solved. This netting is great because you cannot really see from a distance.
