In the past I've used tongue depressers for marking my baby seedlings, but they were to big and heavy. I can use these when I start my seeds, and also move them to the garden when they are ready.

The tags are great to help me identify the numerous potted plants that I have in my yard. It is nice to know when each plant was potted and where it came from.
The wooden ones are much better than the white plastic ones that do not last very long. I don't know how long the wooden ones will last.
