If you are ordering this they waist size is do not true to size. Order them on-line and had to return them twice. My suggestion is to purchase these in person only so you can try them on.

I purchased the carhartt bibs for working with firewood along with general outdoor work. These bibs stand up to the Carhartt tradition of quality, funtional garmets. One word of advise, if you intend on wearing long john bottoms along with pants underneath the bibs, make sure you order one size larger in the waist. These are not like the general line work wear from other companies where you have the choice of small, medium, large etc... I purchased a 32" waist and had to return them for a 34". Be sure to read the reviews from others! I had ordered a vest to go with the bibs and after reading the reviews, I choose a large rather than a medium from the reviews that others had left. The large was the right choice... Other than that, don't hesitate on purchasing Carhartt work wear. I have many Carhartt items and have never been disappointed!

I just got these and my first inpression is great, I LIKE'EM.
But for anyone thinking of purchasing these you will may want to order them two sizes over your pants waist size if you are planning on wearing then over the top of your regular cloths and want a little space to breathe. (I ordered 1 size bigger and they're suprizingly snug). The length, on the other hand, is slightly to the longer side. you can probably get away with 1 size shorter than your pant length (inseam) if you don't want them to fit a little long. hope this is helpful!
