Deluxe straw pith helmet keeps you cooler in the sun

Keep the sun's burning rays off your head and neck with this extremely cool straw pith helmet. The straw is lacquered so that it holds its shape in wet conditions. Vinyl bill cord can be used as a chin strap. Adjustable vinyl headband adjusts to fit most head sizes and includes a terry cloth sweatband on the forehead. USA made.       I HATE to wear hats. I got this to protect my head from the sun since my part was getting sunburned and a fellow mail carrier just had skin cancer in her part. I can't stand to have stuff touch my head so I thought this hat would be best. It is the best I have tried so far.
      Two complaints though:
      1. The little sweat band that covers the front of the interior band and touches your forehead is not cotton. It is some itchy non absorbent synthetic.
      2. The interior band is a bit too low in the hat and so shows quite a bit when I am wearing the hat. It looks ugly. I wish it was movable.
      Other than that the hat seems to be of good quality and is very light and reasonably cool.
