I use these all the time on our ranch where we use power tools, tractors, brush cutters. As others noted, wetting makes them much easier to insert and results in a tighter fit. When inserted properly, there is no sound, only vibrations felt. Pull down slightly on earlobe for easier removal and to avoid breaking cord. The cord is a must for me. I can remove the plugs and leave them hanging around my neck until needed again. Just bought another box of 100. Thank you again, Gemplers, for another great product.

They really keep out noise well. Best to wet them before insertion and it is easier and they fit better. Main draw back in that the cord, especially near the plug attached area, gets dry and brittle after a time and when you pull on the cord to take it out, it breaks and leaves plug in your ear. They are easy to get out if this happens though, but using tweezers works well and fast if they are in deeply. Over all a great product.
