Beekeeping Veil, Mosquito Netting

This beekeeping veil fits over our pith-style helmets and also any hat with some strength in the brim. Beekeeping veil can be used as mosquito netting, too. Elastic at top and bottom secures the nylon mesh veil and a tie-down cord (included) keeps the veil from slipping up when you bend over. This beekeeping veil is lightweight, yet very durable. USA made.

We have a huge black fly problem in our county and we could not work in our garden without getting these flies in our eyes, ears, and noses. It was terrible but with our veils and ventilated pith helmets we are totally comfortable working outdoors.

To keep the gnats away from my face, I started wearing the beekeeping veil over my helmet while mountain biking. The elastic at the top keeps it snug on the edge of the helmet and the drawstring closing below keeps the bugs out. The veil does not fit closely to the face so it has good air flow and visibility. No more swatting at the gnats while trying to ride!
