Comments about Solo #475 Deluxe Backpack Sprayer:

I would like Solo to take a look at redesigning the 'fold away' handle and also extend the black metal area the handle is hooked into by at least one (1) inch.

The 'fold away' doesn't fold away during normal summer usage, unless you undo the screw attachment and place it in another position. I do not have time to do that after each spray session.

I would really like to see it be a true 'fold away' WHILE it is in use in the summer time. Making a 90˚degree easily fold up, fold down, movable 'joint' where the screw attachment now, so the handle would 'snap' into either position would help.

Also, think about extending the metal piece out 1 to 2 inches, where you insert the handle, as the handle is so tight to the body, when pressing it down, I literally bump my hip, with the 'pumping' hand and have to keep pushing the backpack unit on my back, over to the other side, with my right elbow, so I can pump with the left hand.

I had a solo sprayer like this before, but didn't have the 'clips' to hold the wand in place. WhenI had placed the empty sprayer in the trunk of the farm car, and put the wand inside the trunk, but couldn't secure it, of course, as I'm starting up in reserve with the car, I hear a loud sound, and the wand must have flipped out of the trunk, and the rear tire caught it, pulling the whole 4 gallon sprayer out and breaking the main sprayer in an irreparable spot, having me place the order for the new one I just received.

So, yes, thank you for putting the black rubber/plastic clips on the metal black handle so I can clip this wand in place while not in use.

Also, it would help if you extend the white reinforced hose by about 6 more inches. That would make it easier to be in a 'twisting' position while spraying overhead.
