They do stretch!

Bought these for storage in my bike tank bag to whip out and keep feet dry in those unexpected downpours. They ARE stretchy and they're thicker than your regular Totes (they're real boots, not shoes) but they require considerable effort to pull over a regular pair of shoes or sneakers. There's not enough allowance in the toe area so toe of shoe bunches up there and the foot has to be worked forward to allow the heel of the shoe to finally plop down into its place in the boot. I specifically purchased a pair of insulated bedroom slippers which have minimal bulk that I keep in these boots so when it rains, off come the shoes, on go the slippers and then I have less of a struggle to get these boots on.

It rained then snowed last night and most of today, March 2. I put them on after skipping puddles all the way to the office trailer on the base here in Afghanistan. It is 18 hours later and my feet are dry, warm, and I'm ready to go to bed. It will be a pleasure taking off dry socks and boots instead of muddy, soaked, cold leather lumps of boot.
