      Fantastic Product

This pump is ideal for transferring fuel between tanks. It siphons quickly and easily without the risk of sparks which could be present with motor-driven pumps. A safe and efficient product.

Used product to remove old gas from boat. worked okay but had trouble keeping prime. It pumped great but because of cold weather and difficult time getting good connection would not hold prime. Would not work for me out of gas tank but did work from fuel bulb.

This pump works just as advertised. Very good for starting siphon. Not so good for pumping much uphill.

            Comments about Hand Siphon Pump:

Used the hand pump to remove old fuel from a 52' Chevy we are restoring. It took a few pumps to get the siphon effect to happen... it's more of a timing the flow of fuel and the location of the pump handle to generate the siphon flow. But you have to make sure the fuel tank is located higher then the canister you are pumping into.

                Comments about Hand Siphon Pump:

This pump works as advertised. I had no problem starting the siphon process and letting it do the work after 5 or 6 cycles of the pump.
It is important to read the directions or you may be pumping until the cows come home.

Bought for and used initially to get gas out of my boat with built in tank. It is very slow for large applications ( more than 15 gallons). Your arm will be ready to fall off after that. Worked well on my motorcycle and small equipment for winterizing.

Couldn't get the pump primed no matter what I tried. I ended up draining 2 gallons of gas from my generator ONE STROKE AT A TIME. For the cost of this product try something else.
