Moldex ® 2300 Respirator is our most popular Moldex ® respirator

  • Mesh shell extends service life up to 5 times
  • Exhale valve lets hot, moist air out for better comfort
  • Flame retardants added to reduce shell's flammability
  • NIOSH 42CFR84 certified to have a filter efficiency level of 95% or greater against
    particulate aerosols free of oil

Dura-Mesh ® outer shell extends the service life of this Moldex ® respirator up to five times that of conventional respirators. Central exhale valve allows hot, moist, exhaled air to escape from within the respirator . . . greatly improving wearer comfort. Flame retardants are added to decrease flammability of shell. Certified under NIOSH 42CFR84 to have a filter efficiency level of 95% or greater against particulate aerosols free of oil. Approval No. TC-84A-0328. USA made.

          I agree with other reviewers that the straps break very quickly. I had one mask I purchased within the last month that had the lower strap break on first use, and a second mask the strap broke on the 3rd use.
          I have contacted Moldex about this before. Their comment was that the each mask should not be used multiple times. Yet they say their mesh shell extends life by 5 times. I use a hot glue gun, staple and 1/8" Braided Soft Stretch Elastic to fix the straps. They will last a season.
