These pigskin work gloves use a 3-layer technology that blocks out water before it reaches your hands or the insulation. I bought these for roofing and construction work during the winter months. I have only used them for a couple weeks on and off, but roofing is brutal on gloves, and these seem to be holding up well.

These gloves are waterproof as advertised, and easily as warm as any ski gloves I have ever worn. Roofing tear-off and job site cleanup in the snow and ice used to be really miserable, but these keep my hands comfortably warm and dry in the worst conditions.

The only drawback of these gloves is their bulk--predictable for heavily insulated work gloves. It is nearly impossible to drive a nail or do any other fine work wearing these.

Buy these for heavy work in the bitter cold, but keep a thinner pair of gloves around for finer work.

I turned my employees loose with these this week with the temp's getting down to the single numbers. Found that when they get wet, they stay wet. The gloves stay very warm while they are dry but when they are wet they will not stay warm. Very disappointing

        I'm a South Dakotan. Was looking for WARM gloves for shoveling and snowblowing, often in temps of -10° to +10°. These are high quality construction, but are not very warm. If you work in below freezing temps, these are not your gloves.

        Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

          The dog has been lying in wait for my old gloves for a while now, and finally got them. These are the gloves I keep in the side pocket of my truck door in case of break down or worse. Warm, flexible, true to size. Presumably waterproof, but that has not been tested yet. The "safety cuff" style is instant on. Should last a long time, and the dog has been told that.

          Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
