Soil Sampler Probe with Collection System

  • 18” probe with a 1” diameter
  • Requires a drill with a 1/2” chuck
  • Electric drill or cordless 18V to 24V drill is recommended

A soil sampler designed from the ground up. Features a cutting tip with a diameter smaller than the probe’s shaft to keep core samples loose. Use the cleanout rod to push samples into convenient bags, ensuring less cross-contamination. This efficient system allows one person to collect samples quickly. Includes probe, collection bucket, four 1-gal. plastic bags, protective tip cap and cleanout rod. USA made.

I am a professional agronomist and, though I prefer push probes over augers, I thought this would help in hard and rocky soils to pull soil samples. It simply spins at whatever level you are able to push it to.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
