100% steel hose storage box conceals and protects your hose

Neutral color blends in with most environments to hide your garden hose from view. Includes brass fittings, a unique chain-drive system and a worm gear to guide the hose during rewind. A hydraulic hinge easily raises and lowers the lid. Comes completely assembled (except for the crank handle and 5' leader hose). Holds up to 200' of 5/8" irrigation hose. 21 3/4 L x 16 1/4 W x 21.75"H. Weight: 36 lbs. empty.

      tried to assemble the crank handle and the mount holes did not line up, so I could not mount the handle and the chain on the gear drive fell off,it's to loose.i returned it and got a hose cart and advised them to remove this item its cheap [*]

            Comments about 100% Steel Hose Storage Box:

            The 100% steel storage box is not 100% steel. The pieces that hold the leader hose and the crank to the box are plastic, very thin plastic. When I received mine the piece that attaches the hose was already shattered. I did receive a replacement part rather quickly, but I have little confidence that these pieces will last very long when exposed to daily use and the outdoor elements. Also, the description in Gempler's claims it holds up to 200' of 5/8 inch hose while the description on the supplier's site says 125'. That's a big difference.

            Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
