Rugged and heavyweight planter quickly makes room in the soil for planting trees up to 12" deep. Features a 3/8"-thick steel blade with 10"L x 3"W tapered wedge shape for easy insertion into soil. 8"W T-style handle and large, 4"L x 1"W step provide a secure grip and sure-footedness, even in damp, slippery conditions. Vinyl-gripped steel handle measures 27"L. Overall length 38 1/8". USA made.

    The handle shaft broke off of the wedge at the weld. I only was able to plant 15 trees before it broke -- Light soil with no rocks.

    Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
