I purchased this timer last year, used it and was pleased with it. But this year, I just got it out put in new batteries, and proceeded to set-up but the writing is not clear enough to see. So I put in two more new batteries and it's the same thing. I can not see the writting well enough to set the time let alone set my program. I would say this item is much too expensive for a one year shot. Therefore, I cannot recomend this product.
