Comments about Victorinox Grafting and Pruning Knife:

I carry one of these around with me when I'm in the yard and use it to trim smaller bits of shrubbery that are getting out of control. I use a diamond rod to keep it sharp and it goes through most smaller diameter branches like a hot knife through butter. I know there's not such thing as a totally rustproof knife, but this one's as close as you're likely to get. I don't know what Victorinox does, but this knife has been used, put away wet and not a trace of rust. It's also about as tough a knife as I've ever owned (I've got a decent collection of pocket knives). It's gone through the wash by accident and come out undamaged. About the only negative thing I can say about it is that it seems to be getting harder to find in the States. The retailer I bought mine from doesn't sell it anymore. I only found a handful of e-tailers that showed it in stock when I did a search recently after misplacing mine. It's not even on Victorinox's North American website anymore [@]
