Deluxe straw pith helmet keeps you cooler in the sun

  • Very cool . . . keeps its shape in the rain
  • Very light at only 5.5 oz.
  • 2" brim

Keep the sun’s burning rays off your head and neck with this extremely cool straw pith helmet. The straw is lacquered so that it holds its shape in wet conditions. Vinyl bill cord can be used as a chin strap. Vinyl headband adjusts to fit most head sizes and includes a terry cloth sweatband on the forehead. Imported. Specify color: tan, cream or denim.

    My husband loves the different colors so he can coordinate his clothes. During the summer months this is the best coverage for any head. So much so that this recent purchase is really for my brother-in-law who NEVER wears hats! We do find that after years they get misshapen and hard to reshape. Replacements bands don't always work and not easy to insert. Some users can reshape over and over. It was easier to buy new ones and wear the old ones around the house doing chores. However, they don't carry as many colors as years before. People comment, start conversations and remember us where ever we go. We've started carrying Gempler information to give to people!
