I recieved the Work Sharp a week ago and immediately sharpened and honed all the kitchen knives. I was really impressed on how sharp it can get a blade after just the sharpening belt. I was even more impressed after I used the honing belt on them. Changing out the belts takes a little time, but is very easy to do.

If you sharpen and hone one item at a time, it takes 4 or 5 minutes - including changing the belt. If you take on a sharpening project as an assmebly line, you can do it in about 2 minutes on average per blade.

I then needed to sharpen a hand plane blade. It does not have a guide for a plane, so I did it free hand. It did a great job on that.

I have not had a chance to sharpen a hoe or shovel, but am sure it will do a great job. I'm very glad I bought this tool.
